The disappointment of progress is that today's leading edge research and innovations will be taken for granted tomorrow. So as the pace of technological change increases, the benefit of exposing yourself early to the innovations on the horizon also increases, because the opportunity to lead the market has been shortened. That's why every year we host a tour of the MIT Media Lab to explore and discuss the latest technological innovations of relevance to business.

This year we will explore technologies under development at the Lab and elsewhere that may be useful in solving a variety of business problems related to identity, transactions, consumer behavior, and wireless connectivity.
